The Djibouti eVisa is a one-entry online visa implemented in 2018 to facilitate the visa application process and speed up the procedure for all 180 eligible countries.

Eligible applicants can apply either for a 14-day or 90-day single-entry visa which enables visiting Djibouti for tourism-related purposes exclusively. Its validity is 3 months from the date of issue.

Residents of GCC can apply for a Djibouti eVisa provided that they can upload a copy of a valid GCC visa as well as other required documents (see ‘Required documents’ section).

Prepare all required documents, sit back, and go to the online application form. There are only three steps you should follow, including:

1. Fill out the online form: Enter all necessary details, such as your personal data, travel information, contact details, etc., and upload copies of all supporting documents.
2. Cover the processing fee: Use one of the available methods of online payment and cover the fee.
3. Receive your Djibouti visa: After covering the payment, make sure to check your email inbox. All the communication as well as the approved visa will be sent to you via email.

The validity of an online visa for Djibouti is 3 months (90 days) from the date it is approved. Do note that you can use your valid visa only for purposes related to tourism.

In order to ensure that your eVisa will be valid for your entire stay, check if your passport will remain valid for at least 6 months from the date of your intended trip.

To apply for a Djibouti eVisa, you will need to provide certain personal details and travel-related information. Additionally, make sure to prepare copies of the following documents:

• a digital copy/photo of a bio-data passport page
• applicant’s face photograph
• hotel booking confirmation (or an invitation letter if you are visiting your family)
• an onward or return ticket
